If you're transferring your Microsoft 365 account to HostingRoo or need to grant us admin access, follow these steps to create a new Global Administrator account and securely share the login details.
Step 1: Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Visit https://admin.microsoft.com
- Sign in using an account that already has Global Administrator privileges
Step 2: Create a New User
- In the left-hand menu, go to Users
- Active users
- Click Add a user

Fill in the following:
- Name: HostingRoo Admin
- Username: e.g.
hostingroo@yourdomain.com.au - Password: Choose “Let me create the password”
- Uncheck “Require this user to change their password on first sign-in”
Step 3: Assign Global Admin Role
- After creating the user, click their name in the Active Users list
- Click Manage roles
- Select Global Administrator
- Click Save changes
Step 4: Send Us the Details Securely
Please send us the following via a secure method (e.g. encrypted email or password manager share link):
- The username (e.g.
hostingroo@yourdomain.com.au) - The temporary password
- Confirmation that the account has Global Admin rights
Once received, we’ll log in, complete setup, and rotate credentials for security.
Optional: Remove Access Later
After setup is complete, you can:
- Remove the Global Admin role
- Or delete the account entirely
